A man’s home is his castle… Everybody in the UK is fixated on the value of their home. Do you want to know how much your property is worth without getting an estate agent over?

Here’s our top tips to value your property yourself, for FREE!

✅ If you already have a mortgage on your property, you can log into your lenders portal and see the value they have for your property. They will use the House price index which uses online data to give you a figure.
* This can often be a random figure E.g. £117,913

✅ You can visit Zoopla.co.uk and click on the ‘House prices’ tab. Enter your postcode and scroll down to your house. Again, this will use online data from Zoopla using houses listed in your area over the previous years.

✅ Use Zoopla or Rightmove to search for properties in your postcode that match yours and see how much they are being listed for. You can gauge how much your is worth by finding identical properties (size, style, decor etc) and taking an average of the asking prices.

✅ Head over to streetcheck.co.uk and check the recently sold prices for your postcode. Some of these dates may be from a few years ago, so you’ll need to take these figures with a pinch of salt.

Using these tips above you can find out how much your property is worth without having to drag a number of estate agents round to your house and have them pester you for weeks after asking if you wish to proceed with selling your house (when all you wanted was to know how much yoru house is worth!)
